Omg –what a weird day. Everything before 3:00 was fine. Got Easter Bunny shopping done, work went well. After 3:00 -just stunk. Ran late for piano because I needed to take a shower…and Daelen would NOT leave me alone long enough to get dressed. In my rush I turned too early into the piano instructor's driveway. Smashed up my wheel cover, rim, and flattened my tire on the CURB. Called Rob and he came to the rescue…but he couldn't get the lug nuts off with the cheap-o jack thingie in the car. Had to leave car there until the morning when we can go back with a tire iron. Cub Scouts was actually the bright spot in the evening. The kids painted paper cut-out Easter eggs and went on an Easter egg hunt. Daelen rode his bike to the den meeting. He thought that was really great. Hummmm, dinner….well, we had to scrounge because I HAVE NO CAR to get to the store to get dinner. Rob and Daelen had soup, I had eggs, sausage and biscuits (not too bad).
I had a really nice chat with Rob's mom. I feel for her though. Mom's still in constant pain with her back. Pop had a wreck a couple of weeks ago…and a couple of months ago a massive heart attack. NOT been a good 2010 for them. I wish there was something I could do for them.
My house is gross. I can't stand it anymore. So now, it's 10:58. I've been attempting to clean my grody house without having my nice cleaning supplies that are IN MY CAR. Grrrrr.
So let's see –tomorrow I have to; have Rob attempt to put spare on my car, go have new rim and tire put on, go to work, pick up Daelen, got to PTA board meeting, help/attend the art fair –and somewhere in there has to be homework, piano and dinner…oh and did I mention that my MOTHER is coming on Friday and my house is grody.
I think I'll go to bed and hopefully Doby the House Elf will have all of this done when I get up.
